Andrew Cuomo’s Bachelor status : New Yorkers ,please Andrew Cuomo is indeed in the market for love.
During WAMC Radio Roundtable hosted by Alan Chartock , The governor said that he is still “eligible” and not in a serious relationship — then quickly pivoted to how he’s really too busy for romance.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo , in his words : said,
‘I’m working, I’m working, I’m working!” he joked.
Cuomo had set hearts and Twitter atwitter Thursday by announcing “I am eligible” on 1010WINS radio, when he was asked about a survey by a matchmaker that found he and his CNN host brother Chris were as hot as the Jonas Brothers to New York women.
During Friday’s interview, Cuomo said he was blindside by the questions about his love life.
“I was entrapped, I was entrapped, Alan,” Cuomo joked.
“We were talking about coronavirus. And there was a pivot to a poll done by a matchmaker where my brother and I were the top candidates in this matchmaker’s poll for eligible bachelors,” he recalled.
”I then said basically well, Chris is married so he’s not eligible, however I am. And that was it. That was the story. You can’t say anything these days, you can’t.”
Chartock then asked: “So are you seeing anyone else?”
“Well if I was I wouldn’t be eligible,” Cuomo said.
“Am in a serious relationship with anyone now? I am not,” the governor then laughed, clearly enjoying himself.
“Well, are you in an unserious relationship with anyone?” Chartock asked.
“Depends on how you define unserious,” was the governor’s teasing answer.
